Autistic individuals physiologically are not able to handle as much stimuli or information at once which is why they tend to tunnel vision so much. This especially applies to other people. People are extremely complicated with entire lives that are separate to your own, and so autistic people, with their tunnel visioned brain, only see the surface level and struggle greatly with all the depth of other people. Take this autism test for example. Any neurotypical individual would be able to know the answer almost immediately because they conceptualize the depth of Sally's knowledge and how it differs from ours or Anne's knowledge. It takes lots of effort for an autistic person to conceive of this however, and so they tend to think Sally would choose based on the information only we and Anne know.
I genuinely just want someone who struggles socially so I don't feel like a loser being the loner I am. Plus caring for someone who struggles a lot makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, and they love very genuinely.

autism comes in so many varying degrees and spectrums as well, that sometimes it can be a limitation to cognitive processes or possibly only social ones. for instance, the girl in question I brought up struggles with keeping track of alot of information at once and can be helplessly awkward when it comes down to it, but in some cases the limitations don't apply, with her being pretty well learned with some subjects and even getting ridiculously high scores on an academic level. furthermore, savant syndrome comes to mind as an extreme form of this, where one can be behind in most other subjects, but extraordinarily talented in one lane.

What IS characteristic of them is their limited amount of ability to accept new or large amounts of information. You can think of it kind of like a computer system. Autististic individuals may have the same cpu speed or even higher than that of neurotypical individuals, but their ram is diminished, and that's what defines the condition. Studies have actually been done on the neural architecture of autistic individuals and have found that a lowered neural connective density is characteristic of the disorder.
