Best thing I've done for my mental and social health was join a Milsim group on Arma. The game is slow enough to plan and think, the team I'm with are all bros who are kind, funny, and helpful. We all work together to achieve goals and get into some crazy action with stories to tell others later. It's enough for me to feel appreciated without committing to real life situations.

I think that has to do with how hypersocialized normies are, there really isn't enough academic discourse and research about this but the average zoomer prole is basically converging into a hivemind, so much of their cognitive capacity has become externalized - no need for memory to remember phone numbers cause contacts, no need to collect thoughts and be good writers cause chatgpt and so on. Not everyone is too far gone and it's obviously a spectrum but it really does seem like Brave New World
