This is by far my most controversial take but, despite how much I hate Israel, the way they turned liturgical Hebrew into a regular spoken language (albeit by mixing it a ton with Arabic and Yiddish loanwords) and "revived" it within a single generation was pretty fucking cool. If we ever do stabalize our countries I think it'd be neat if we did language revival programs like that but with Western/Eastern Aramaic in the Levant/Iraq, Coptic in Egypt, and Berber in the Maghreb. Also I'm pretty sure the Arameans came after the Canaanites, but I could be wrong.
