nta but it's characters you like the most, from any media. If you prefer a certain waifu over big buffed dudes like Guts then put her in there. The waifu one would be in type of girls, which could also be irl waifus and the like

Well I put some characteristic trait in "type of girls" I think it's better to describe what you want.

I used to like Violet Evergarden a lot and watched her show multiple times even though I didn't think it was that good, so you could have considered her to be my waifu. But then one day I made the mistake of falling in love for the first time and I stopped caring about it all. Weird how that works.

Well, okay man.
I've fallen in love myself in the past, but I didn't lose my waifus, you know? I mean, like, I was obviously more in love with the girl than the anime girls, but it's also because the girls could have the characteristics the anime girls have, like personality traits or physique.
Well, the anime girls are fictions and are made to incarnate something. Well, I guess I can find that something in girls sometimes, but it's been years since I fell in love with any girls, so.

Yeah I get it. You dissociate and it's not like you're actually in love with the characters. I think it was because the girl I fell in love was the complete opposite of my ideal waifu that it just negated it or something. Idk, the world may never know. One of the world's greatest mystery some would say.

Well, I love Asuka and Hina, but sadly they don't exist. It was more painful when I used to watch Evangelion each year, and every time I used to finish it, I was thinking about Asuka and all, and it just put me in my own loneliness because I can write a lot of words; she will not become real.
That's fiction; I can't fix her because you can't fix what doesn't exist.
So yeah, I just try to see in fictional characters what makes me love them by dissociation and some kind of autistic analysis on them.
I love Asuka because she's like me. I love Hina because I empathize with her feelings and respect her behavior of trying to do everything she could do to complete a task even until it deteriorated her own health, and I would like to be her just to tell her, "That's okay you did great," you know? I love Louise because she's French, trad cath and royalist (and also loyal in her relationship). Madoka from Beyblade is more about my nostalgic part and because she's kinda autistic in a good way. Tanya is because I love Germany and German WW1 and WW2 uniforms and that era and also the cold-blooded killer personality, etc.

But what about you, the one girl you found man? How was she the opposite of your waifu?

Oh yeah I'm completely different lol. I don't attach that much importance to anime characters, not the way you do. I guess that's why I can't have waifus. I don't feel too bad and too sad for fictional character, ya know.
And well Violet Evergarden's a pretty calm and sophisticated girl, while the girl I fell in love with was like a mix between Marin Kitagawa (which is why I put her in my type of girls section) and Haruhi (which was her favorite character so she probably tried to act like her).
So yeah pretty much the opposite lol.

I will occasionally drink or take drugs but it's such a rare event these days that it's hardly worth mentioning.
I do not have any real hobbies besides staring at the ceiling.
I do not read books.

Eeeehhh... I don't know if I wanna reveal too much. But basically I didn't make a move for a year due to reasons and she decided to cut contact with me one day out of nowhere due to religious reasons (it was just an excuse because it never bothered her before). Unlucky

Well, she was my first girlfriend, and the story about it could be very, very long to tell, and it's 4am here, and I'm kind of tired, so maybe I will say more tomorrow if the thread is still alive.

I used pixlr. A website. You can save 3 images a day without logging in. Otherwise I'd use Gimp but it can be a pain.
