i would instead recommend what i call "entification"; reconceptualizing maladaptive behaviors, thought patterns, and tendencies as real entities. this provides a "target" to "fight against", conceptualizing your mental space and psyche as your property and domain, while considering these maladaptive things as intruders and interlopers. evict them, kill them. you may visualize these new entities as eldritch blobs or something different. you may verbally confront them or use your mental voice. probably wouldn't recommend if you have pre-existing disassociative or schizophrenic disorders!

Even if you just want to sit in your room, these tasks tell your brain to think outside the box more, on various axes, opening your ability to generate new ideas for yourself. The focuses on art are to increase your artistic axis, and the one on different people for interacting with others, etc. Even if you just wanted to be better at video games strategy or something pointless like that it would boost your pursuits.

It helps you revive the moment that stress you, and turn those emotions into action. The issue of why i am miserable is because i have an actual schizophrenic brother, he is my only brother. That event changed the course of my life heavily, after struggling through all the phases of depression, i started getting deep into esoterism, no blood rituals, no candles or oil essences, but the real parapsychological stuff.
I will not tell you what i learned, but i can tell you that after getting enlightened on the deep of esoterism, i can make vivid simulations that i can feel with my 5 senses. i have read tons of authors, but the ones with the least amount of bullshit (everyone has at least a grain of truth in their works) were unironically Carl Jung (ignore the orgone bullshit related stuff), William Atkinson, Aleister Crowley (you need a really refined bullshit detector for this one), and those CIA papers about the gateway experience and remote viewing.

To train how to make mental construct, you have to grab a simple mundane object, it can be a plastic ball, whatever, it must be something really simple. Then, you focus on the details of the object: taste, texture, weight, dimensions, visual, smell, etc. You basically engage all your senses into it and then recreate it in your mind eye (closed eyes is way easier than doing it with open eyes) from that point that will be your daily meditation exercise. Once you nail it, you just get more and more complex objects, eventually, you will be able to make perfect constructs in your mind of virtually any inanimate object, from that point, you can start talking about simulations. You can make composite objects to which you can engage your 5 senses. At my level, i can fully build complex situations, simulate people, personalities (not women, i dont have enough data about women, sadly.) and even physics.

Its way harder when you are a functional society member. I got to master this skill when i was a depressed NEET. The very skill that turned me into a functional successful and competent yet miserable guy, ironic. Its really simple, i did read a LOT for esoteric works, books and stuff. I noticed a pattern and that pattern was the key to my current knowledge. Then driven by that pattern, i started my own research, which is what i shared in my previous posts (a grain of it, thats it).
