I do not agree with Hasans extremist takes on the war in the middle east. But is there some strategic value to keeping him around after his ban? Because I'm trying to figure out why so many of my fellow leftists dogmatically support him so much??
I mean, I realize we're pretty desperate for big voices in the left, all of our Breadtuber people are kind of falling off in the wake of the Trump Administration.
But optically, I mean... I dunno, do optics matter in the current year when we're so divided? Is having a more Centrist Democratic person even viable?
Help me out, I'm floundering, struggling to make sense of it.
