As a short or average height guy why WOULD you be against the height filter? Before you would have to waste your time talking to a girl then meeting in person, only to find out that you're too short for her. Seems like it's manufactured outrage and you guys haven't really thought this through.

Why I'm against it... is that it's just further proof that the social economy panders specifically towards the desires of women almost unconditionally. Because people are bad at gauging what their actual physical attraction deal-breakers are. A woman will set a height filter to 6', not because she's incapable of feeling attracted to a man who's 5'11", but because it's a sign of status in her eyes. She wouldn't even be able to tell a difference between a guy who's 5'11" and 6' irl. And there go so many potential fully compatible dating options for both the women and the men. And as a guy you're most likely pissed, because unless you're at the top attractiveness-wise, you're not swimming in matches. And now many of those will get greatly reduced for no actual good reason. Not to mention that it's objectifying. Imagine the outrage, if you gave the men the option to filter women by tit size.
