I've met probably about 10 people from there over the course of a year and only speak to 2 of them anymore. Some were very dry and so the conversations just fizzled out, others were just to mentally ill and there's only so many I'm going to delete my account and kill myself's you can take before it affects you negatively, others we just naturally drifted apart but I'd still consider them good friends for the time they were there. So for my final score of ?/10 how many I enjoyed having I'd say 6/10
r9k is so far at only 3/10 with 2 of those being the ones I still talk to. So many people on this board do not know how to hold a conversation
i wouldnt say intelligence comes from good grammar and way of talking, einstein said "if you cant explain it to a six year old, you dont understand it yourself". i prefer having high iq thoughts and thinking, and converting it to simple language so that everyone can understand
can't talk about Anon Babble but i can talk about the anons i've added from here. most ended up in mutual ghosting, not really because the people were bad but rather because there was nothing to talk about. it's not hard to chitchat for a day or two but if you don't have anything in common you'll just stop talking to each other pretty quick

I've been there before, I think even if the odds are slim making an ad for yourself on soc is probably not a bad idea. I think the only problem is accidentally posting in the wrong thread like they have lots of NSFW ones and if you're looking for a friend posting in those might not be the best idea. but then i realized i typed way faster without capitalization and punctuation so i stopped, as long i know the difference between your and youre, or their theyre and there then im good.

I would personally advise posting your contact because the amount of lurkers far exceeds the amount of people posting in the threads. Essentially it's easier to find people that you're looking for that way than to search through them
